This will be an opportunity to learn more and provide input about the state's ARRA energy grants.

The meeting will begin with a status overview of the three Rhode Island ARRA energy grants and will focus on the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

We will also provide information on performance contracting, a system where building owners and install energy efficiency systems in their building with no upfront costs, using the services of an energy service company. Over time, usually seven to twenty years, improvement costs are paid for out of the guaranteed energy savings from the installed systems as the energy savings are accrued.
