Energy Programs for Rhode Island Businesses

The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (RIOER) offers the following programs for businesses in the State of Rhode Island:

Grants to assist commercial and industrial users to keep operating costs low through energy efficiency

Other Programs

Businesses that begin construction on renewable energy systems or place renewable energy systems in service in 2009 or 2010 may be able to apply to the U.S. Treasury for up to a 30% payment in lieu of tax credits

The office of energy resources also tracks consumer oil and gas prices in Rhode Island
