Purposes
The purposes of this program are to take energy inefficient kitchen appliances and heating systems out of use, encourage their recycling, and replace them with energy efficient ENERGY STAR appliances through direct consumer rebates. The program will be open to consumers throughout the state in areas serviced by National Grid, the Pascoag Utility District and Block Island. The rebate program will relaunch on July 21, 2010.How much funding will Rhode Island receive for the Appliance Rebate Program?
